The deal.
Madar gives you software for running an academy. What you teach, who you admit and what you charge are yours.
Your account
One account per person, with an address you control. You are responsible for what happens under it, so keep the password to yourself. We may suspend an account being used to break these terms or the law.
Your content
Courses, lessons, media and everything else you upload stay yours. You give us only the permission needed to host and serve them to the students you admit. You are responsible for having the right to use what you upload — a video you did not make and cannot license is your problem before it is ours.
Money
Madar is not a party to what your students pay you. Payment happens on your own payment page, between you and them. We take no commission, hold no funds, and issue no refunds on your behalf — refunds, receipts, tax and disputes are between you and your student.
That means we cannot confirm a payment. Admitting a student is how you say it happened.
What we do not allow
- Content that is illegal where you or your students are.
- Material you have no right to distribute.
- Using another academy’s students or content as your own.
- Attempting to reach data belonging to an academy you are not in.
Availability
Madar is in active development and is not yet generally available. It is provided as it is, without a service level, and it can change or be interrupted. Do not make it the only copy of anything you cannot lose.
Ending it
You can stop using Madar whenever you like, and delete your academy — which deletes what is inside it. We can end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and will say why.
Madar is in active development. These terms describe how the product is provided today and will be reviewed before general availability.
